Hello, my name is Neil and I am Head of Overseas Purchasing for destinations outside Greece & Spain. I have worked for Monarch for almost 8 years. My team and I are responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers (hoteliers, transport companies etc.) in destinations served by Monarch.
My role involves extensive overseas travel to meet with our partners & develop our product range. My role helps the business to deliver outstanding service and value to our customers by ensuring that we have the best possible hotel and transfer products at the most competitive prices.
I enjoy working for Monarch as the business is big enough to provide good support to its staff, but small enough to remain friendly and for individuals to have real responsibility and make a genuine difference to performance.
Monarch has provided me with “on the job” training but I have also been fortunate to attend several management training courses for my professional development.
