Hi, My name is Laura and I started working for Monarch in 1997 as a trainee on the youth scheme. In 1998 I was offered a permanent role in the recruitment team and have worked within the group ever since.
My role is 'Oracle Analyst' which means that it's my job to support the Group HR team on all issues relating to the Oracle system, I ensure all system testing is executed as required and we aim to maximising the use of the system, improving data quality and simplifying processes.
The most exciting part of my role is looking and finding ways to improve the system, analysing how to make the change and considering the benefits of the change. I have undertaken a variety of training courses throughout my time with Monarch to maximise my potential and progress my career.
Also, ensuring the HR and Payroll systems run smoothly and error free is of vital importance, especially when it comes to the monthly payroll run! The variety in my career has been amazing, plenty of opportunity and training to get involved in different areas of the business.
I love the friendliness of the employees, how they treat each other as well as customers is fantastic. It’s the World Host training shining through!
I think Monarch really does go Above and Beyond when it comes to our Customer Service, we are well known for our extremely high levels of customer service, it's something all employees feel strongly about.
